The purpose of 4 zooms a month using a variety of weekdays and times is to accommodate and reach as many members as we can. All meetings are set for approximately 1 1/2 hours; however, the Zoom system does NOT automatically shut off so if we are in the middle of discussion, we can continue and try to hold it to a minimum of 15 minutes extra. Of course, feel free to leave as you wish.

November QGETX Program
Michele Markey, the owner of Medina Domestic
Arts Studio, retired from over 30 years in the oil
and gas industry to start her own quilting business and subsequently added an embroidery sideline.
After quilting for the public since 2008 she fell in love with fabric painting on embroidered blocks. Michele now teaches fabric painting classes and does trunk shows as both educator and vendor.

Michele Markey with Medina Domestic Arts Studio will teach the basics of Fabric Painting and Decorating with this beautiful design featuring bluebonnets and a hummingbird. Michele says, "Even if you don't sew, you can color on fabric!" You can choose from painting a quilt block, a bag, or denim shirt. All you have to do is show up, Michele will provide all the supplies! You will learn several basic techniques on how to color on fabric as well as bling your block.

Fee includes Quilt Block or Bag and all the supplies you will need to paint and decorate it. You may choose to put this design on a denim shirt you can either bring your own or Michele will provide you with one. Long sleeve shirts sized small to 3XL cost an additional $25.

The cost is $344.00 (to be verified). This price includes all your meals. Rose is accepting reservations for your spot.
