Bus Trip to Plano Quilt Show, August 15, 2026
QGET will rent a 48 person luxury bus (meaning there is a bathroom!!), to take our group of fun quilters to the Plano, Tx, Quilt Show on Saturday, August 15. The cost per person is $40 each for guild members or $45 each for non-guild members, and sign-ups are first come, first served. You MUST sign up and pay in advance on our website, so please clink the link (here) to reserve your seat.
We plan to meet at the First Christian Church in Tyler to park our cars and will leave there at 9:00 a.m. Then we will ride in luxury to Plano, where we will look at quilts, shop, visit, etc. until about 4:00 p.m., when we will leave Plano to return to Tyler. You are responsible for purchasing your own tickets to the Quilt Show, which are $15 and can be bought in advance at qgplano.org (scroll down on their main page to “Buy Your Ticket”). Also please bring your own snacks and, if you don’t want fast food for lunch, bring along a lunch too.
