Giving Back to Our Community

As a 501(c)3 Charitable organization we consider giving back to our community essential.  Guild members donate not only financially to the community but donate numerous hours through-out the year by the education of quilt making or by giving home-made goodies.

Cuddle Quilts

Cuddle Quilts Contact:  Mary Ann Learned

Cuddle Quilts make donation quilts for several different non-profit organizations in Smith County.  A few of the organizations our quilts have benefitted are The Children’s Advocacy Center of Smith County, Refuge of Light, CASA, and Royal Family Kids to name a few.

The Cuddle Quilts group is open to any guild member who would like to participate in making quilts for donations.

The group provides quilt kits at our monthly meetings for you to take home to put together.

The group welcomes any fabric donations and batting donations.

For more information regarding Cuddle Quilts, please contact Becky Grimaud.

Child Protective Services Pillowcases

Contact: Corey Starkey

These pillowcases are donated to Child Protectives Services.  We are asking for donations of 1 yard of "kid friendly" fabric from toddler to teenager to help us make more pillowcases.  Please drop off your donations at the Community Service table at our next Guild meeting.  The pattern for the pillowcase is here.
